At the start of the war, Katya decides to leave her hometown and take her mother with her, but her mother is busy getting her nails done. Mariia Felenko is a Ukrainian filmmaker based in Prague. She has directed several films presented at major festivals, including Palm Springs International ShortFest (2024, with Mama) and EnergaCamerimage (2021, with Butterfly Dance). As a producer, she worked on Tomato, Big Cake and Victory by Kate Tiuri, which premiered at the 64th Zlin Film Festival. Mariia also participated in WarsawNext during the Warsaw International Film Festival 2023 and Sommerfilmakademie in Görlitz 2023.
